The Settlement Support for Youth project aims to help newcomers integrate successfully into their new communities. This initiative addresses language barriers, cultural adjustments, academic integration, and social inclusion, ensuring that youth receive the necessary Support to thrive in their new environment.

OBJECTIVES

ACTIVITIES
Offer language classes and peer mentorship programs to improve English or French proficiency.
Language Classes: Offer English or French language classes tailored to different proficiency levels.
Peer Mentorship: Pair youth with peer mentors who can provide language practice and cultural exchange.
Conduct workshops to help youth understand and adapt to Canadian culture, norms, and values.
Workshop Topics: Cover Canadian laws, customs, social norms, and public services.
Cultural Exchange: Organize cultural exchange events to promote mutual understanding and respect.
Provide tutoring services, homework help, and resources to support educational success.
